The mission of A Little Help is to both provide opportunities for social connection and to help neighborhood seniors connect with services and resources to continue life on their own terms, with dignity and independence, in their own homes (neighbors helping neighbors).
The Boxwood Alliance is a free collaborative aging in place initiative designed to help older adults in the upper Westschester and Putnam County region to remain in their homes and communities as long as possible. Most of our group live in the less densely populated parts of the lower Hudson Valley, NY.
Touching six million people a year, Lutheran Services in America creates opportunities with people in thousands of communities throughout the United States and the Caribbean as an alliance of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod, and their over 300 health and human service organizations. Working neighbor to neighbor through services in health care, aging and disability supports, community development, housing, and child and family strengthening, these organizations together touch the lives of one in 50 Americans each year and have aggregated annual incomes over $16.6 billion.

We recognize people's right to choose to spend their senior years in their own homes. We know the importance of having the right information and resources available to make aging in place as safe and as comfortable as possible. It is our goal to discover the needs of our senior community and to help meet those needs.
The principal purpose of the Brookline Community Aging Network is to maintain a high quality of life for older residents by promoting services and activities that enable independent living while also increasing opportunities to engage in the town's social, cultural, and civic life.
